After Mission: Impossible, Bain continued to appear in various TV shows and films. She also starred in the British sci-fi series Space: 1999 from 1975 to 1977. Bain received a Golden Globe nomination for her role in the 1983 film, The Sting II, and earned a Tony Award nomination for her work on the stage play, “the Eleventh Hour.”

Bain was married to actor Martin Landau from 1957 until their divorce in 1993. They had two daughters together, Susan and Juliet. In recent years, Bain has retired from acting and has focused on her painting career.
